Prevent summer bills from climbing with temperatures
Dakota Electric's Cycled Air Conditioning® program helps offset these increases for members. Participating members receive a $10 credit on their electric bill each June, July and August for allowing Dakota Electric to cycle their air conditioner on and off in 15 minute intervals. Cycled Air also helps Dakota Electric minimize wholesale power costs by reducing the amount of high-priced power purchased during times of increased energy use. Reducing wholesale power costs with programs such as Cycled Air benefits all of our members. Sign up before summer to maximize your savings
If you participated in Cycled Air last summer, there is no need to sign up again this year. You will continue to receive the $10 credit on your bill. |
When summer temperatures arrive, many members will count on their air conditioner to provide relief from the heat. Unfortunately, that relief comes with a price. During summer months, cooling systems often contribute to increased power bills.
