The conservation gauge on our Web site home page at www.dakotaelectric.com alerts members to what days require additional conservation efforts.

Dakota Electric updates the gauge every afternoon to reflect the conservation needs for the next day. For example, Dakota Electric will update the gauge indicating Tuesday's needs on Monday afternoon, allowing members to plan and prepare for energy-saving measures. The gauge will indicate if a day is a normal, peak or critical usage day and link to suggested energy-saving steps. Working together we can save energy and reduce wholesale power costs.
