Dakota Electric Association is a member-owned, nonprofit electric utility serving parts of Dakota, Goodhue, Scott, and Rice counties, just south of the Twin Cities. Board of Directors

The board of directors consists of twelve member-owners who are elected for three year terms. There are three directors in each of four districts. Voting is at large, therefore all member-owners vote for directors in all districts rather than voting for only the directors in their own districts. More >>

Dakota Electric member-owners receive a ballot in the mail every March. Voting may be done by mail, via the Internet or in person at the Annual Meeting, usually held in April. Information about the annual meeting and director elections >>
