Board of Directors and Bylaws

Each of Dakota Electric’s 12 directors is also a member who receives electricity from Dakota Electric. Directors act on behalf of members to guide operations and future planning for the cooperative.

Dakota Electric’s board of directors has three members from each of its four districts. Directors serve three-year terms and are elected by fellow members. Voting is done at large and all members have the opportunity to vote.
