View & pay my billQuikPay online billing offers members the convenience of viewing and paying your bill online, along with viewing your payment history. This service does require online enrollment and you will no longer receive paper bills once enrolled. Instead, you will receive an e-mail when your bill is ready for viewing. Once you are enrolled, you can make a one-time payment using a credit card or one-time and recurring payments using your bank account. If you want to receive your bill online but pay it with a credit card, you will need to enroll in QuikPay but make payments through Kubra. Convenience fees apply. Paying by mail or in person is still an option, too, of course. We offer drop boxes in many convenient locations throughout our service area as well as a drive-through window at our office in Farmington, open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Budget Billing lets you pay the same amount every month, eliminating the worry of big increases and reductions in your electric bills caused by fluctuations in the weather or other household usage patterns. Your monthly budget amount is determined by averaging your past twelve months electric bills. This amount is reviewed every six months and adjusted, if necessary, to reflect changes in your energy use or the cost of electricity. (Please note that you are always responsible for the actual balance on your electric bill.) Budget billing enrollment form Need Help Paying? You may qualify for protection from shut-off during winter months under the Cold Weather Rule. A list of agencies that assist with paying utility bills is also available. Helping Neighbors is a trust established by Dakota Electric in 1993 to direct members voluntary donations to charitable agencies that assist needy individuals and families in paying their heating bills during winter months. To establish a monthly contribution, to be added to your monthly electric bill, click to complete and submit the online Helping Neighbors Enrollment Form.
