Dakota Electric Association Board of DirectorsDakota Electric annual meeting to be held March 27 Dakota Electric Association's board of directors consists of twelve member-owners who are elected for three year terms. There are three directors in each of four districts. Voting is at large, therefore all member-owners vote for directors in all districts rather than voting for only the directors in their own districts. Dakota Electric member-owners receive a ballot in the mail every March. Voting may be done by mail, via the Internet or in person at the Annual Meeting, usually held in April. The Dakota Electric board of directors meets on the last Thursday of every month at 9 a.m. (unless otherwise noted) in the boardroom at Dakota Electric Association, 4300 220th Street West, Farmington, Minnesota.
