Generator Monitoring
Installing generation equipment is a smart business decision, but once installed, members must properly maintain the generator to maximize its potential. For a monthly fee, Dakota Electric will monitor, exercise and order fuel for your generation equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Monitoring Services
- Generation equipment monitoring: Using our SCADA system, Dakota Electric provides constant status and analog point monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 52 weeks a year. If the system alerts us to any trouble spots, we will contact your service provider or facility personnel.
- Fueling: Dakota Electric will monitor fuel status and contact your designated fuel provider for refueling when necessary.
- Testing: Using a schedule agreed upon between you and Dakota Electric, we will routinely exercose your equipment and notify your maintenance provider or facility personnel when we detect problems.
- Operations: Dakota Electric will start and stop generators as necessary for maintenance, testing and load control.

Pricing
