Air Conditioner Tune-Up

• Dakota Electric provides a rebate to members who have a registered and/or professional HVAC contractor perform a tune-up on an existing central air conditioner or air-source heat pump of 7.5 tons or less.

Cooling Equipment

• Available for the following equipment: Chillers, cooling towers, variable air volume (VAV) systems, water source heat pumps, rooftop units (RTU's), condensing units, split systems, economizers and packaged terminal air conditioners (PTAC)
• Rebates are paid on a $/ton basis
• Significant additional dollar incentives for units that further exceed the minimum efficiency requirements

Ground-Source Heat Pump

• Businesses installing a ground-source heat pump (GSHP) may be eligible for a rebate of $400 per ton, with a maximum rebate of 50 percent of the project cost or $100,000. Download the GSHP application.
