Boyd, Dakota Electric’s economic development director, works
hard to keep area businesses going strong. For more than 20 years,
she has helped attract Peggy Johnson, Dakota Electric’s community relations director, links your co-op with businesses, schools and organizations throughout the area to strengthen and enhance our communities. Plus she brings “Get Charged!,” an electricity education program, to area schools. Other employees are also involved helping with Meals on Wheels, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and more. Dakota Electric has established and maintained connections with our local communities for more than sixty years. Through partnerships with our schools, businesses and other community organizations, we work hard to enhance the quality of life for all members of our community. From economic development to educational programs to community event sponsorships, Dakota Electric is there, helping strengthen and support our communities.
