Member Appreciation Evening at the Minnesota LemurZoo

Dakota Electric Association members are invited to enjoy free admission to the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley on Thursday, July 26 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Your household’s ticket will be included in your electric bills mailed June 13 through July 5. (A copy of a recent electric bill may be presented in place of the ticket.)

The zoo will not be open to the public during this exclusive event. Admission is limited to the first 10,000 Dakota Electric members. Event will be held rain or shine. Sorry, no rain checks.

Optional: Please bring a non-perishable item for the foodshelf.

Reminders

  • Your household's admission ticket is included in your electric bill mailed between June 13 and July 5. QuikPay members can print their ticket by following the link on their electronic bill.
  • To enter the door prize drawing, please complete the name, address and phone number portion of the ticket before arriving at the event and place the completed ticket in one of the collection boxes as you enter the zoo. This year's door prizes will include a framed Dakota Electric Association 60th Anniversary print, 2 Minnesota Zoo family memberships, a surge protector and a blanket.
  • Admission is limited to the first 10,000 individuals.
  • Parking is free. Do not plan to meet others at the entrance. Arrange to meet your party at the Guest and Member Services desk inside. To drop off disabled guests or seniors, follow the school bus signs to the bus station near the south entrance. Additional transportation for disabled guests and seniors is available by calling DARTS at 651-455-1339 by July 26. Strollers are available for a fee, and a limited number of wheelchairs are available free of charge.
  • Non-perishable food shelf donations will be appreciated.
