If you are like most Minnesota residents, you probably enjoy exploring Minnesota's great state parks. Dakota Electric now has a chance for you to not only spend a day at Fort Snelling State Park, but also to volunteer at the park through the Minnesota Touchstone Energy Cooperatives' Project GreenTouch.
What:
Volunteer at Fort Snelling State Park during Project GreenTouch
- Free lunch for volunteers
- Free guided history walk from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources following lunch
When:
- Saturday, May 3
from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

- Dakota Electric welcomes individuals, families, youth groups, scouting organizations and other organizations looking for a service project.

- Only a limited number of volunteers can participate

This year marks the ninth year of the partnership between Minnesota's Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and Minnesota State Parks. Together, the cooperatives also donate $40,000 to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to help fund the State Park Guide and the Junior Park Naturalist program.
