EnergyWise® Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Off-Peak Programs
High energy bills can take the fun and relaxation out of having a swimming pool or hot tub. To help keep these costs to a minimum, Dakota Electric offers an off-peal program for swimming pool and hot tub pumps.
Program Details
- You receive a reduced price on the electricity your swimming pool or hot tub pump uses.
- On days when homes and businesses are using a lot of electricity and purchasing wholesale electricity is more expensive, Dakota Electric will periodically interrupt power to your pool or hot tub pump.
- Interruptions usually occur only on the coldest and hottest days of the year when more people depend on air conditioners and electric heaters to stay comfortable.
