CFL recycling info
CFLs contain small amounts of mercury and must be recycled. In Minnesota, it is illegal to place CFLs directly in the garbage. Here are three easy and affordable recycling options:
Participating local retailers accept CFLs for a small fee with coupons.
Recycle them for free by visiting the customer service desk at most Home Depot
®
or Menards stores.
The Recycling Zone recycles CFLs from Dakota County residents at no charge to you.
