Washington D.C. Youth Tour

Dakota Electric Association sponsors an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. for high school students as part of the National Rural Electric Association's annual Youth Tour.

Youth Tour offers students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to better understand the value of rural electrification; become more familiar with the historical and political environment of the nation's Capitol through visits to monuments, government buildings and cooperative organizations; meet their senators and representatives to better understand how the federal government works; and make close friends and contacts from around the nation that could lead to wonderful future opportunities.

Interested junior and senior high school students may obtain the application from their high school guidance counselor, or print the application form below and mail it to:
