DESCRIPTION:Dakota Electric Association\n4300 220th St. W\nFarmington\, MN 55024 \nDid you know energy companies are projecting 30-50 percent of their workforce will be eligible to retire in the next 10 years? \nDakota Electric is hosting a Careers in Energy Open House on Tuesday\, Oct. 24. The event is geared toward high school students and their parents but is open to anyone interested in energy careers. Guests will have a chance to tour the facility and speak with representatives from various Dakota Electric careers\, including: \n\ntechnician electrician\nelectrical engineer\nIT/software developer\nfinance\nenergy services\nmechanic\nlineworker\ndistribution system operator\nhuman resources\nmarketing/communications\n\nWe will have drawings for college scholarships for students who attend the open house. Students must be attending college in 2018 to be eligible.
