Payment Options
With our members' hectic schedules, Dakota Electric knows that it is important to provide several options that make paying bills as easy and convenient as possible.
Pay Online
Dakota Electric’s online bill payment allows you to make payments 24 hours a day from anywhere with a computer and Internet access.
Pay by Mail
Simply mail a check or money order using the envelope provided with your bill or an envelope addressed to Dakota Electric Association.
Pay in Person
You can also drop your payment off in our lobby or drive-through window at our Farmington office.
Pay by Phone
With a simple phone call, you can make payments with a credit card, debit card or electronic check 24 hours a day.
Pay with Automatic Deduction
You can pay your bills each month with automatic deductions from your checking or savings account using Dakota Electric’s electronic funds transfer program.
Financial Assistance
Some members face hardships that make paying their energy bills difficult. Dakota Electric works with members to set up payment plans and directs them to agencies that provide financial assistance.
