Youth Tour Application

Washington, D.C., Electric Cooperative Youth Tour: June 15-20, 2026. Application Due Date: Friday, Feb. 20, 2025.

  • Please Note

    As part of the application process, each candidate is required to attend one brief interview. Each candidate will receive a letter or email with details for their interview. Your interview will be held either on March 5 or March 10 after 4:00 pm.
  • Youth Tour Essay Questions

    Please provide your answers to the questions below. Keep answers brief. Suggested length is 100 words or less per question.
  • Please upload a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or youth organization leader.
    Accepted file types: pdf, docx, Max. file size: 15 MB.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Unfortunately, Dakota Electric only sponsors the children of its members for this experience. If you have friends that live on Dakota Electric's lines, please encourage them to apply.
