Important Note: By signing up for QuikPay, you will no longer receive a paper statement in the mail.

*Convenience Fees
An independent service provider will charge a $3.95 convenience fee for each $500 segment for transactions made with a debit or credit card. The convenience fee for using an electronic check is $3.95 regardless of the amount. Dakota Electric does not receive any money from the collection of convenience fees. You will be charged a convenience fee for each transaction you make.

  • Make check payable to Dakota Electric Association.
  • Do not staple or tape your check to your payment coupon.
  • Write your Dakota Electric account number on your check.
  • Deduct payments automatically from a checking or savings account.
  • Payment is deducted on the due date of your bill.
  • Receive a paper bill with enough time to review it before payment, or go paperless by enrolling in QuikPay online billing.
  • Bills are paid on time every month.
