How it works:

When energy demand spikes and the wholesale cost of energy is high, Dakota Electric will cycle your A/C condenser in 15-minute intervals to save energy. Your furnace fan keeps running to maintain your cool comfort.

This small change helps manage energy costs and keeps the grid reliable for everyone. There is no cost to join and if you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll disable the control equipment at no charge.
