Together, we’ve helped members save more than 30 million kilowatt-hours through energy efficiency programs, supported students with scholarships and donated thousands of pounds of food to local shelves.

When annual revenue exceeds expenses, Dakota Electric returns the margins to members based on their annual electric bill. Over the past five years, Dakota Electric has worked diligently to accelerate the return of these funds. We’re proud to share that we’ve reached our goal of a 15-year rotation by 2025, allowing members to receive their share even sooner.
