Dakota Electric Association along with Lakeville Friends of the Environment invite the public to learn more about residential solar installations at the Solar Vendor Fair, April 22. This Earth Day event will provide the public the opportunity to learn about many aspects of producing power through solar.

This free, informal vendor tradeshow will feature local solar installers who will answer your questions and provide helpful resources for a residential solar project. Special learning labs will provide educational opportunities: Solar 101, Financing Your Solar Project, and Dakota Electric’s Residential Solar Rebate. Also, Dakota Electric staff will be on hand to answer questions.

While this event is directed at Dakota Electric members, anyone can attend the Solar Fair, even if served by another utility. The event is being held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lakeville Heritage Center, 20110 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville.
