Learn about solar and electric vehicles at local event

Dakota Electric Association, along with Lakeville Friends of the Environment, invite the public to learn more about residential solar installations and electric vehicles at the Energy Trends Expo, May 3. This free informal vendor expo will feature local solar installers and electric vehicle experts who can provide helpful resources and guidance for anyone interested in learning more about residential solar energy projects or purchasing an electric vehicle.

Local solar installers will answer questions and provide helpful resources for residential solar projects. Special learning labs will provide educational opportunities on the basics of solar and electric vehicles. Also, Dakota Electric staff will be on hand to answer questions.

While this event is directed at Dakota Electric members, anyone can attend the Energy Trends Expo, even if served by another utility. The event is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Parkway, Eagan.
